Cellular technology can be used to transmit
alarm signals over the airwaves to your central station in a cost-effective
and reliable way. Telephone lines are vulnerable to accidental line
cuts, weather conditions, or even intentional tampering. In the
event of a burglary, forced entry, fire or medical emergency, cellular
communication will give you and your family an enhanced level of
safety. Adding a Links1000 Cellular Transmitter or a SKYROUTE™ Cellemetry
Transmitter to your DSC Power832 security system means that if your
security system is compromised by a phone line loss, your message
will still be communicated to the central station.

Rely on Proven Technology |
|
Every day, more and more people use cellular
telephones to keep in touch with the world around them. A cellular
telephone is a convenience and more importantly, provides a sense
of safety and security, knowing that you can always remain linked
to the people who mean the most to you. |
|
Insurance Against Phone Line Loss
Our world is becoming wireless, yet we rely on telephone lines
to communicate one of the most important messages, the one from
your security system. The Links1000 Cellular Alarm Transmitter automatically
establishes a link to the monitoring station. The data sent via
the Links1000 is identical to that sent over the standard telephone
line.
The Links1000 also provides an Emergency house phone connection
that allows you to dial out (to a pre-programmed telephone number)
in the event that your standard phone line is not functioning.

WHEN THE SIGNAL
MUST GET THROUGH The
Power832 now provides for a variety of alternative communications
including the Links1000 Cellular Transmitter and SKYROUTE
Cellemetry Transceiver. |
|
|
Sending signals
The Skyroute Cellemetry Transceiver uses
the cellular control channel to send information to your monitoring
station, either as a backup to regular land lines or as the sole
form of communication to the monitoring station. Skyroute does not
require dedicated telephone lines and is therefore not subject to
sabotage or accidental phone outages when phone lines are down or
severe weather exists. |

Safeguard What You
Value Most
Just as you use your cellular telephone to provide a sense
of safety and security, cellular communication is a low-cost
option that provides that same level of security in the home. |
